NCity, continued

The band NCity Blues has been around since 2005, but 2018 saw the birth of a fresh new concept that's a whole lot more than just a shortening of the name.  Founder members Torben and Tobias teamed up with new blood Phil and Michael, who were playing together in other projects. The vibe was good, socially and musically, setting the scene for a thorough reworking of the band's repertoire, with the southern genre zydeco as inspiration. This resulted in NCity, a melting pot for diverse styles like rock 'n' roll, skiffle, jump jive, country and rockabilly, infused with the band members' various quirks and passions: close harmony singing, an primarily acoustic sound, the band's vintage look. These elements conjure up a certain nostalgia, but also reflect on the guys' approach to music: 100% live and swinging, with real instruments and real musicianship at its heart.

As well as delivering a stage concert with full, amplified sound, NCity is also capable of 100% acoustic performance.
